Sale #5: Mahoromatic Items!

Mahoromatic (まほろまてぃっく) was the first series I ever bought a figure from! Those who know me know I’m a total whore for Mahoro, so much so that one of my friends just calls me “Mahoro-san” every time she sees me! xD

If you’ve never seen Mahoromatic (including its sequels Something More Beautiful [Motto Utsukushii Mono / ～もっと 美しいもの] and I’m Home [Tadaima Okaeri / ただいま◇おかえり]), I highly recommend it! It’s one of my favorite series (except for that last episode, which we do not speak of XP ) because it manages to blend comedy, action, and over-the-top fan-service with a thought-provoking and moving story about a combat android who decides to live out her retirement as a maid for a young man. It’s not a particularly well-known series despite being a Gainax show, but it’s definitely worth a look!

Anyway, in my quest to collect all things Mahoro, I of course wound up with many duplicates! Many of these items are in varying condition, so read the descriptions for full details. Click the photos for better views.

As mentioned above, here are some details!

Here is the Mahoro figure that comes with the Artbox. It has a lot of scratches on it, mainly because it was packed in the artbox with no padding. :< It’s the same figure as the Yujin one (which is still sealed) and also comes with the extra arm and face.

Here is the Minawa figure by Yamato. The figure itself is in good shape, but the box is a little roughed up. There is tape damage on the sides and back from when the box was opened, but the blister/tray itself is still taped up.

Here is the Yujin version of the Mahoro figure. There are some specks of red paint or something on the blister and card, but the figure is fine. The bottom left corner of the blister is a little crushed, but again this damage does not affect the figure. The card has some nice artwork on the back! 1. The complete sales listing will be put up on WordPress and announced on Twitter. If you’re on LiveJournal (I haven’t been, lol) there should be a page with my Tweets. The next day, anime figures/goods will be listed in My Figure Collection’s User Sales thread and on figure.fm.

2. Sales are generally first come, first served — Subscribe or Follow for best results! xD Your request time is determined by when the Comment/Direct Message/Private Message notification hits my Inbox. Exceptions are made for multiple items bought, higher offers, previous buyers, local pick-ups, and blog Followers ( ♥ ). People who waste my time will be blacklisted ( </3 ).

3. All prices are in US Dollars. Prices are negotiable. Cash accepted for local pick-up in Los Angeles only; PayPal accepted for all others. PayPal fees and shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer. I ship worldwide via USPS and UPS.

4. All items sold as-is and all sales final.
