Sorry for the delay. ^^;
It’s always fun checking out the Cherry Blossom Festival in Monterey Park! Even though I kind of miss Little Tokyo’s version of it, having everything in one place with free parking and shuttle service certainly eases the pain. 😉
Was able to catch up with some friends I hadn’t seen in a while, met some new folks, and saw some interesting things. It was hot as usual, and I was glad that most of the things I wanted to see (PMX’s Asian Street Fashion Runway Show and Cosplay Runway Show) were inside! 🙂
It’s some of my friends from Tomo Neko! 🙂
Caught up with Mikarin of Takeriya Samurai, the lovely emcee of the PMX Cosplay Runway Show!
A pair of kazari at the Tanabata booth. Glad to see that Little Tokyo will be holding its annual Nisei Week and Tanabata Festivals this year!
Alice was one of the participants in the Cosplay Runway Show!
Had never seen an HMO version of Hatsune Miku before, though the wig reminds me of Luka. Mika? Miluka? :3a
I believe this was TAIKOPROJECT.
Back inside with a couple of shooter friends to watch their friends from Kotobuki no Kai. I love how sensei is watching. xD
The Ikebana Exhibition always has some great flower arrangements!
Some pieces from Hirofumi Kai (at least, that’s what the sign said).
Photos from the PMX Asian Street Fashion Runway Show and the PMX Cosplay Runway Show are linked above, and be sure to check out more from the Cherry Blossom Festival in the Facebook album linked below!
